Practical agricultural learning that helps young people discover farming as a pathway to skills, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.
Explore the programmeAgriculture remains an important part of Kenya's economy, yet many young people do not see farming as a viable career or source of opportunity.
POAK's 4K Clubs programme introduces learners to practical agriculture, smart farming, environmental stewardship and entrepreneurship from an early age.
Through hands-on learning, mentorship and school-based projects, learners develop skills that can contribute to stronger livelihoods, food security and climate-resilient communities.
To inspire a generation of young agricultural leaders who transform knowledge into sustainable livelihoods, strengthen food security and drive climate-resilient development.
The programme combines agricultural knowledge with practical experience, leadership and entrepreneurship.
Learners also develop environmental awareness, nutrition knowledge, teamwork and financial literacy.
Partners can support schools with the infrastructure, equipment and learning opportunities needed to establish strong 4K Clubs.
The 4K Clubs programme is being prepared for phased implementation through partnerships with schools, communities and county stakeholders.
POAK aims to help young people see agriculture not simply as farming, but as an opportunity for innovation, enterprise, environmental stewardship and sustainable livelihoods. By starting early, the programme can help build stronger agricultural communities for the future.
