Peer Program

Growing confidence through peer support.

Boys for Boys and Girls for Girls create safe spaces where young people can learn, support one another, build confidence and develop practical skills for life.

About the programme

Safe spaces where young people can grow together.

POAK's Peer Program creates supportive spaces where girls and boys can talk openly, learn from one another and develop the confidence to navigate challenges.

Through Girls for Girls and Boys for Boys initiatives, the programme addresses menstrual health, mental wellbeing, social pressure, relationships, confidence and positive role models.

By strengthening peer relationships and practical life skills, young people become better equipped to support themselves and contribute positively to their schools, families and communities.

Programme focus

Peer support, mentorship, menstrual health, life skills, peer counselling, positive role models and stronger support systems for young people.
